All sick birds are disposed of at my place. I don't attempt to heal anything.

I am with Greg, breed for resistance. I use preventive medicines but not cures.
I use LS-50 for the first week, then Corid every other week till they go on the ground. Then I only Worm, vaccinate for Fowl Pox and use ACV once in while.
Clean your brooders but don't sanitize your brooders

Every bird you own has CRD, Coccidiosis, Mareks, and Coryza. The strong ones fight it off, the weak ones succumb.

I will clean up the litter, sand or what ever you are using for bedding on your newly hatched chicks. I don't use a sanitizer after cleaning, like Trek-Trol, Oxidine or Bleach.

The reason chicks brooded under their mother don't get Coccidiosis is that they are exposed to the bacteria a little bit every day, building up their immunities.

For the record I do sanitize my incubators with Trek-Trol, at least the Hatcher
