Can anyone explain the New or Proposed testing requirements for Georgia. Have been told that the State will require A.I. Testing to be able to show. Can someone in the know please explain.

I wouldn't think that would be a big deal. Here in Oklahoma we do it at the same time as the Pullorum test. B)

If you have "NPIP Papers", there will be "no problem" at Dalton, I have talked to the Testers that will be a Dalton and that is what they told me.

Bob the papers I seen stated that the state of GA was putting a 120 day lock down on poultry that they must be 21 days clean AI like NC before allowed to enter the State. Most States NPIP dont cover AI just the Pollurum. Could you get with your tester and make sure please for all the out of state folks.

I was told by the testers, (Sat. at Dalton) the ruling would not go into affect until fall, as long as you are a NPIP member you may show in GA. (March 28 2015-Calhoun).
Most states are already doing AI on the yearly NPIP visit.

I and a few more of us, plan to attend the GA. Poultry Lab meeting in August, to find out more on this.
Just more Government, crap, protecting the commercial $$, that is where, if any, the disease is!
