We are in a new year and I have a couple of shows that I would like to attend before hanging it up this season. What is a definition of a Cock? I used to believe a bird was not a cock until he reached 2 years of age. I always felt the same thing about a pullet. What do you guys think?

So far I am unable to find this in the standard. I am sure that this is in there. Could someone point it out to us?

Start on page 263 of the ABA Bantam Standard. Cock and Hen are over 1 year age. Cockerel and Pullet are under 1 year of age.

A bird is a cock or hen when it has reached over 12 months in age.
